*** ONLINE BOOKING IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO PUBLIC ***

We are reserved for our clients only, please contact BodyWellness of Naples for a consult and appointment, thank you!

Please Note: Due to the potency of our RLLT therapy bed, frequency of sessions are recommended for only 1-2 times/ week with best results over 8-12 week period, after which maintenance can be opted for.

Each individual has option to create own schedule and timeline for positive results. Schedule your sessions based on your own needs or recommended time line, or mix a little of both!

There is no pressure to buy packages or set a certain number of visits as with lower grade systems; some "online research" may indicate 2-5 times a week which is unnecessary with our system.

What is Red Light Therapy?

We offer Red Light Laser Therapy as a full body treatment using our FDA approved bed on which clients are able to fully relax, meditate and enjoy effective 660 nm LED treatment for clinically supported results. Not all red light therapies are created equal with regard to the source of light and type of equipment used. Our USA made bed is not made of fluorescent UV bulbs or cheap red filters, we are using top grade 660 nm LED bulbs for clinically based and absolutely safe results for our clients.

Red Light Laser Therapy works by penetrating into the skin to a depth of 8-10mm. The light rays stimulate the production of elastin and collagen, proteins with a high elasticity level that are used by your body to repair damaged or "weak" tissues. Red Light Laser Therapy also increases circulation by relaxing the blood vessels in the treated areas allowing the blood to flow more easily. Additional stimulation of the lymphatic system boosts immunity.

RLLT is a powerful stimulation of the body's anti-inflammatory response and is used to treat a range of conditions from wound care, diabetes related complications, bone health, scar tissue, chronic pain and some diseases. Many users report an increase of energy, mental focus, improved sleep and overall sense of well being.

On a rehabilitative level, RLLT is also called Photobiomodulation Therapy as increased circulation and increased nitric oxide activity ease muscle and joint stiffness, as well as discomfort due to spasm or nerve inflammation. There are over 4,000 studies and over 600 human trials regarding the benefits of RLLT. Over 70 countries use "Photobiomodulation" in thousands of clinics, hospitals and elite sports institutions. Red light therapy is the ideal choice to harmlessly stimulate tissue regeneration and healing while also enhancing overall well-being.

As a non-invasive treatment for rejuvenated skin, Red Light Laser Therapy will reduce the signs of aging and condition the skin, diminish lines and fine wrinkles. RLLT increases circulation and boosts fibroblasts to encourage the production of healthy newskin cells, especially collagen. RLLT also refines pore size and skin texture without painful peels, surgery or injections, and has been proven to fade age spots, scars, melasma and hyper pigmentation.

Other skin conditions, including acne, rosacea and psoriasis, have been successfully treated by RLLT as long as photosensitive medications are not being taken for those conditions. Ensuring a healthy pH goes a long way for healthy skin, and RLLT is an incredible reset button for pH balanced skin head to toe! See Q&A below for more information about your skin care and RLLT as well as preparation for your treatments.

YOUR RLLT SESSION~ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What can I expect from Red Light Laser Therapy treatments?

Red light therapy stimulates circulation and repairs the elastin fibers within tissue. For skin care, treatments will improve tone and texture, control pigmentation spots, encourage vibrant skin and reduce wrinkles. For pain management or musculoskeletal issues, there is a powerful anti-inflammatory response to RLLT for which a treatment plan would be discussed with your therapist.

Are Red Light Treatments safe? What does the FDA say?

According to the FDA, red light falling below infrared waves has a “non-significant risk” status and is completely safe. Red light penetrates tissue to a depth of 8 – 10 mm, delivering energy to stimulate a response from the body to heal itself. Use of eye protection wear is recommended due to potential sensitivity to the light, not damage.

How does Red Light Therapy work?

Red light at 633 nm and 660 nm is absorbed by the mitochondria of the cell and stimulates intracellular energy transfer (ATP) production for enhanced cell vitality and permeability, increased production of new collagen, and increased turnover of collagen and elastin fibers. Laboratory studies have shown that skin cells grow 150 – 200 percent faster when exposed to certain light wavelengths, and research has shown red light delivers powerful therapeutic benefits to living tissue.

Does Red Light Laser Therapy produce the same light as from the sun? Can it damage my skin?

Too much sunlight can affect the skin due to the emission of broad spectrum ultraviolet energy through the atmosphere. Red Light treatment bed lamps utilize the visible spectra of light at 633 nm and 660 nm (red), but contain no UVA or UVB rays. It is important to differentiate between fluorescent bulbs and quality medical grade LED lights in RLT beds.

How does Red Light Laser Therapy differ from other laser treatments?

Red Light Therapy does not cut, burn, or break the skin as with high level laser treatments. These lasers use heat and concentrated light to vaporize or remove tissue. Red Light Laser Therapy bed lamps do not produce vaporization or burning of tissue, and therefore no inflammation or erythema. RLLT is a form of Low Level Laser Therapy, meaning the wavelengths are a lower nm (nanometer) than those used to vaporize or remove tissue. Red Light Laser Therapy is one of the few non-invasive tools available in the treatment of the human body.

How soon do results become noticeable?

Choose your own schedule without marketing gimmicks! Everyone reacts differently, depending on their age and condition. In general, best results are achieved over an 8 – 12 week period. We use 660 nm LED bulbs for therapeutic effect and results, for 15-20 minute sessions. Our RLLT bed delivers more effective results in less time, for 1-2 times a week and decreasing the number of sessions per individual strengths up to just once a month or less for maintenance!

Does Red Light Therapy treat cellulite?

Yes and No. Some studies show that the appearance of cellulite is reduced with red light therapy but most of these studies are inconclusive... The tightening of the skin, as a result of RLT, will reduce the appearance of cellulite but the actual reduction of cellulite is best paired with other programs for weight loss.

Does Red Light Therapy treat acne, age spots, and sun damage?

Red Light helps remove the bacteria that causes acne, and generates cellular activity that deals with age spots and sun damage. Anti-aging Red Light Therapy brightens skin and reduces the formation of pigmentation marks, especially with use of certain products applied after treatment. Most of our clients have products already on their shelf at home to enhance results. Any noncomedogenic product with anti-oxidants, especially Vitamin C, and hydrators, such as hyaluronic acid, are wonderful to use. Retinols or Vitamin A products are also safe to use after a session but not recommended before.

How should I prepare my skin for a Red Light Laser Therapy session?

To ensure the best possible results of the red light treatment, it’s beneficial to cleanse the skin thoroughly beforehand. No other preparation is necessary.

Is it OK to wear cosmetics during the session?

Please be aware that makeup may reduce or block the effectiveness of the light, especially if it contains any SPF. For best results we recommend removing all makeup prior to use unless your primary objective is for body or pain treatment.

Does Red Light Therapy work equally well on all skin types?

Red Light Therapy is safe and effective for all skin types and colors. The main prerequisite is that skin be clean for effective light transmission.

How long do the results last?

Results depend on the length of treatment and the original conditions being treated. Skin rejuvenation is a dynamic process. If maintenance treatments are discontinued, natural expression lines will gradually return over the course of time, at which point re-treatment can be put in place. For other health conditions, each individual progress varies from full recovery, cooperative assistance with other therapies, targeting "flare ups" to simple maintenance of chronic conditions.

Sounds great! How much will my treatments cost?
